Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 · Arrive in Arusha
Arrive in Arusha and use the evening to settle in and meet your guide before the safari begins.
Day 2 · Tarangire National Park
Head to Tarangire for a game drive among baobab-dotted landscapes and riverine habitat. A longer route gives the guide flexibility to spend time where wildlife is active.
Day 3 · Lake Manyara
Explore Lake Manyara’s mix of forest, open ground and lakeshore before continuing the circuit the next day.
Day 4 · Serengeti National Park
Travel toward the Serengeti and, if arrival time allows, head out for an afternoon game drive. The day combines a park transfer with the first look at the plains.
Days 5–7 · Serengeti National Park
Use three days for Serengeti game drives. This gives more time to explore different areas and adapt the plan to seasonal conditions and recent sightings.
Day 8 · Ngorongoro Highlands
Take a morning game drive before leaving the Serengeti for the Ngorongoro Highlands; allow time for the drive and stops along the way.
Day 9 · Ngorongoro Crater
Spend the day on a crater-floor game drive across Ngorongoro’s grassland, woodland and wetland habitats.
Day 10 · Return to Arusha
